June 2020

This month marks a change in staff here at St. Raphael.  As you know I am leaving in the middle of the month and both Fr. Kevin and our principal Kathy Bogatai will be leaving at the end of the month.  We will all miss St. Raphael as we move on.  We hope that you welcome Fr. Curtis, Fr. Lou and Mrs. Drinkwater with the same openness as you welcomed us.

Be sure to read the weekly bulletin or visit the parish website for more details about updates at St. Raphael.

Return to Mass

Weekend Masses return this weekend, June 6th/7th.  Masses will be on Saturday at 4:30pm, Sunday at 8am, 9:30am & 11:30am.  There will be no 5:30pm Mass until further notice.  Confession will be on Saturdays at 3:30pm in the Cry Room.  While in the Church please follow social distancing guidelines.  We are strongly encouraging everyone to wear masks during Mass to ensure everyones safety and to bring hand sanitizer if you wish.  You will not need to wear a mask when receiving Communion.  The Eucharistic Ministers will be sanitzing their hands before and will be wearing masks while distributing Communion.  For more information on returning to Mass click here.

For those who would like the option, the MyParish App has added a worship aid as feature.  It has the readings for the day and the Mass prayers for you to follow along on your mobile device.  To download the app search "MyParish" in the app store or google play or visit for a link to the app.

Please note: The Dispensation from Sunday obligation to attend Mass remains in effect until further notice.  Those who are more susceptible to infection because of age or medical condition or those who are fearful of returning to public gatherings too soon should stay home.

The Church will be open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 7:30am to 4pm; Wednesday from 7:30am to 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday during Mass times.  The Reservation chapel is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am until 8pm; Saturday and Sunday 1/2 hour before and after Masses.

2021 Mass Book

The 2021 Mass book will open on Wednesday, July 1st after 8am Mass.  In an effort to allow all parishioners the opportunity to offer Masses for their loved ones, please abide by the following procedure:

Those requesting Masses for loved ones will be limited to six (6) Sunday Masses.  Exceptions would be made for recent deaths.  The offering for Masses remains at $10 per Mass, and is paid at the time the Mass is requested.

Masses may be requested by coming in to the Parish Office.  Requests cannot be fulfilled through email.

St. Raphael Parish offers Mass for living and deceased parishioners of the parish each weekend, and on Holy Days of Obligation, Mass of the Lord's Supper, Easter and Christmas.  Masses for mothers and fathers are offered on Mother's Day and Father's Day.

Father's Day

June 21st

St. Raphael Parish is offering a Spiritual Bouquet for those who would like to remember their father (living or deceased) on Father’s Day.  We will be remembering fathers during Mass on June 2oth & 21st.  Along with being remembered at the Mass, their names will be listed in the bulletin. To make a Father's Day Spiritual Gift you can fill out the electronic form here or you may use the Father's Day Remembrance envelope found in your offertory packet.  If you wish to receive a Father's Day Mass card, please answer yes on the electronic form or indicate you would like a card on your Father's Day Remembrance envelope.  The suggested offering is $10 each.  Requests for a Father's Day Spiritual Gift must be received in the parish office by Friday June 12th, 2020.

First Holy Communion

Saturday, June 6th we will be celebrating First Holy Communion with thirty-five children and their families.  It will be such a joyous day!
