Suspension of Masses

Dear Parishioners:

As of 3pm today, Wednesday, March 18th, the Bishops of Florida have determined that it is best to suspend the public celebration of Mass until further notice, meaning it is safe to return to normal.  See the attached letter from Bishop Parkes

What this means for St. Raphael.  Normal hours for Mass (weekday and weekend), Confession, and Adoration are suspended until further notice.  Fr. Tim and Fr. Kevin will celebrate individual, private, Masses for the intentions that are scheduled. The church will be open between 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday, Saturday from 8am-12pm and Sunday from 12pm-5pm for individual personal prayer .  We strongly encourage you to keep a distance of 6 feet (social distancing) if others are in the pews around you.    Weddings and Funerals will be celebrated as necessary but will only include immediate family members.  Please check our website or the Diocesan website for televised Mass options.   With this notice, all scheduled parish events are cancelled, no matter the size of the group.  For your convenience the Parish Office will maintain regular hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm.  During this time of uncertainty please remember to support our Parish through online giving.

Fr. Timothy Sherwood, Pastor
