All Saints Day - A Holy Day of Obligation

November 1st

Friday, November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints, a Holy Day of Obligation.  It is a day set aside to remember all the saints, known and unknown, who enjoy the glory of heaven.  Masses are on Thursday, October 31st at 5:30pm and Friday, November 1st at 8am (School Mass) and 7:00pm.  

Young Adult Social

Friday, November 1st- Following the 7pm Mass

Calling all young adults ages 18 to 35!  Join us for a great night following the All Saints Day Mass on Friday, November 1st.  We will be out on the field with a fire pit, s'mores, games and great people!  If you have any questions email

Mass of Remembrance

Wednesday, November 6th at 7pm

This year the St. Raphael Mass of Remembrance is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6th at 7:00pm.  We come together as a community in a special way to remember those who have died in the parish this past year (Nov. 2018-Oct. 2019).  A reception in the Parish Hall follows the Mass.  If you would like the name of a loved one to be included, please contact the Parish Office, 821-7989, no later than 12pm on Mon., Nov. 4th. Benediction will be at 6pm that Wednesday.


IT'S HERE!  The St. Raphael Festival will be November 8th-10th, 2019 beginning at noon each day.  Join us for our annual parish wide event with music, food, and rides.  To purchase tickets or sign up to volunteer, visit the festival website:  

St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive

Nov. 9th - 10th and Nov. 16th-17th


St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) will be distributing Thanksgiving baskets to those in need in our area.  Your donations of non-perishable food items will be collected in the Narthex the weekend of Nov. 9th-10th and Nov. 16th-17th.  Some suggestions of donations include: canned meats, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, canned soups, pie fillings, Jell-O, pudding and crackers, packages of stuffing mix, instant potatoes or scalloped potatoes, Jiffy corn mix, etc.  Thank you in advance for your donations of food and toiletry items, they help to satisfy a larger volume of needs during the holidays! 

Annual Liturgical Minister Evening of Reflection

Tuesday, November 12th, 7pm  


All Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Liturgical Ministers are invited to attend the Annual Evening of Reflection on Tuesday, November 12th, at 7pm in the Parish Hall.  Fr. Robert "Robbie" Cadrecha, the Parochial Vicar at St. Jermone in Largo will be sharing a reflection.

Blood Pressure Screening

Faith Community Nurses will be holding their monthly Blood Pressure Screening on Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th in the Parish Hall after all Masses, except Sunday 5:30pm Mass. 

November 17th

The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast in the Parish Center, following the 8:00am and 9:30am Masses on Sunday, November 17th.  Be there for the Knights, have breakfast with your friends, and keep your kitchen clean!

Altar Server Training

All active servers from grade 3 through 6 are required to attend two training sessions per year.
The next opportunity for
Altar Server Training will take place on: 

Sunday, November 17th at 1pm
Monday, November 18th at 6:30pm
Tuesday, November 19th at 6:30pm

Youth interested in serving the Lord by becoming an Altar Server are welcome to attend.  New Altar Servers must be in the 3rd grade or higher, and must have already received their First Holy Communion.  Experienced servers, 7th graders and up are encouraged to assist with the training.  If your child would like to be an Altar Server, or if you have any questions or would like more informaiton contact Mrs. Lisette Shields at or 727-422-0017.

Do you find yourself bewildered as to how to "celebrate" the holidays when a loved one has died?  Please join us to help you be better prepared to meet the unique challenges the holidays present. Thanksgiving Day Mass

 November 28th,  9:30am

Thanksgiving Day Mass, Thursday, November 28th will be celebrated at 9:30am. The Thanksgiving Day offertory supports St. Raphael's  St. Vincent de Paul Society

Wednesday night Benediction will be at 5pm and there will be no Wednesday evening Mass.

Thanksgiving Schedules

School dismisses on Friday, November 22nd and classes resume on Monday, December 2nd.  The Parish Office will be closing at noon on Wednesday, November 27th and will be closed Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th.
