Feasts of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels

September 29th

Sunday, September 29th is the feast day of the Archangels, Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.  Churches bearing the name of one of those Archangels are allowed to celebrate the Feast Day Mass on a Sunday.  Which means Mass will be a bit different, the readings will be from the Feast Day and there will be no Creed.  The vestments will be white, and we will mark the day by using incense and placing the statue of St. Raphael in the Sactuary.  A great way to honor our patron.

40 Days for Life

September 25th- November 3rd

40 Days for Life runs from September 25th through November 3rd. Our parish days of prayer at the All Women's Health Clinic, 4131 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, are Tuesday, October 1st and Saturday, October 12th.  Please contact Mary Stoft 727-422-4001 for information or to sign up.  Let us all pray for an end to abortion.

No 7pm Mass, Wednesday, October 9th.

Due to the annual priests convocation, there will not be a 7pm Mass on Wednesday, October 9th. Benediction will be held at 5:00pm.

Blessing of the Animals

October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis.  Because of St. Francis' love of creation and nature, it has become tradition to bless the family pets on this day.  The Blessing of Animals will take place on Friday, October 4th at 6:30pm.  We will gather in the corner of the Soccer Field, near the waterfront. Owners must accompany pets!
