CORE TEAM: 

Matthew Kelly gives a great talk based on his book, Call to Joy.  In it, he explains – in a humorous, yet serious, way – that life is a gigantic billboard advertisement.  Each and every one of us is shouting something to the world whether we know it or not.  What does our billboard say?  Are we pointing to Christ? 

This is what Core Team is all about.  The LifeTeen Core Team is a group of adults at St. Raphael’s that exists in order to help lead teens closer to Christ through relationships, prayer, and outreach.  The team meets weekly to pray for and with each other, to pray for our teens, and to plan events and toss ideas back and forth.  The team’s busiest day is Sunday; on Sundays we meet up, pray together, go to Mass, set up for the Life Night, and hang out with the teens.
