Email Newsletter July

Attached is our July email.  As is typical in parish life, activities are a bit light during the month of July.  Many of our families are enjoying vacation time together.  Please don't forget to visit the parish website for more details and other ministry and organization events this month. Keep safe, have fun.  Fr. Tim

Tuesday - 4th of July

The Fourth of July is a wonderful celebration of our Freedom.  The Independence Day Mass will be celebrated at 8am.  The parish & school office will be closed Monday and Tuesday, July 3rd and 4th, opening again on Wednesday at 8:00am.  Enjoy the fireworks & celebrations of your choice.

Please keep the 13 High School teens in your prayers as they participate in the Stuebenville Atlanta Conference July 7th through July 9th.  It is wonderful to see our young people keeping their faith on fire!

Parish Blood Drive

The Florida Blood Service bus will be here on Sunday, July 16th from 8:30am to 1:00pm.   Roll up your sleeve and help the many people who depend on blood donors like you!

Painting in Progress  - We are happy to say the waterproofing and painting is on schedule.  By now the School Building and School are close to being done.  This month they will be moving on to the Parish Hall.  Thank you for your patience with maneuvering around the painters and equipment.  Many parish members have commented that they are happy about the fresh, new look.

Mass on Vacation!

Finding a Mass while you are away from home this summer is easy. There are resources you can use to find the nearest Catholic Church with Sunday Mass times.   Here is a website and app from the publishers of our parish bulletin that will help you find the nearest Catholic Chcurch and the Sunday Mass times.  Go to  or download The Catholic Directory app for free from your app store.

Explore Formed, it is a GREAT resource for our parish family.   St. Raphael Log on with our parish code 3951db (case sensitive). All programs are free and are a great way to enrich your faith and that of your family.  This month's feature is The Miracle of Father Kapaun, a man who dedicated his life to serving others and who made the ultimate sacrifice as a POW during the Korean War. This movie can be found under the Men and Women of Faith category under Movies.

LASTLY - (just to keep the young people smiling!) We want to remind everyone that St. Raphael School begins classes on Wednesday, August 9th 2017.  Contact St. Raphael School for more information at 727-821-9663.
